I had my first Mammogram on Thursday, which I was nervous about since my mother mentioned she had a horrible experience with her first one when she was younger. I have horrible anxiety, so I tend to worry about everything, even when I shouldn’t. It ended up not being that bad and went smoothly, especially when the Tech explained the process.

I know how serious it is to get checked, even if my mother reassured me that Breast Cancer doesn’t run in the family. I’m not taking any chances, especially with how many friends of mine that I served with in the military have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the last ten years.

My reading schedule was productive this week, and I was able to finish my reread of Melinda Leigh’s Scarlet Falls Trilogy and also read more of Gena Showalter’s LOTU series, plus two ARCs. Next week may be a slow week due to appointments, but that is when I tend to listen to audiobooks more to make up for not being able to sit and read.

The family and I finally saw Aquaman 2, which was actually good. My youngest daughter enjoyed it, and she’s one of the biggest movie critics in our household. If she doesn’t like the movie, she’ll let you know her feelings about it. She’s looking forward to seeing Kung Fu Panda 4 and Disney’s Inside Out 2 when they release.

How was everyone else’s week? What did you end up reading and loving this week?
