They think they know me, but they have no idea. As a professional Domme, I see men and women come and go. But no one ever sticks around, and I like it that way. I have a secret to protect—at all costs. So when the cocky, handsome, and submissive Clay Bradley weasels his way into my heart, I do the one thing I’ve always excelled at. I push him away—forever. And like a good boy, he listens. But a few months later, during a chance encounter, he shows up again, but this time he isn’t alone. He has the stunning Jade on his arm. And she has a request of her own. She wants me to teach her. I should say no. Training a woman who makes my knees weak is bad enough. But this particular woman is dating the man who still has my heart. It’s a recipe for disaster. Made worse by one simple fact—they know my secret. And they won’t let go. But how can I protect what’s mine if I’m holding onto them too? Jade and Clay are the only ones who truly see me and the only ones who know… I’m so much more than Madame.
Sara Cate, you managed to make this reader cry several times while reading Eden St. Clair’s book Madame. I adored Eden since she was introduced in book one, but I friggin’ love this woman even more after reading her book and finding out who she is outside the Salacious Players’ Club. I loved who she ended up with, especially since those characters showed her the love she deserved and not only her but someone else who meant the world to her. If anyone deserved a HEA in this series, it was Eden, and Sara Cate gave her an epic one that involved a lot of spice and some heartwrenching moments that made this reader cry.
Once you start Eden’s book, you’ll understand her a lot better and also understand why she became Madame Kink. This woman has been empowering others on her blog and at the club, but she needed someone else to empower her when it came to love and other things she’s been struggling with due to what happened to her years ago. She finds it in her ex-client, Clay, and his girlfriend, Jade. The connection these three had together in and outside of the bedroom/club was electric.
I loved how Ronan played a role with Eden, too, but you’ll have to read the story to find out. That man will forever be one of my favorite MMCs in this series, next to Emerson.
I loved how Sara ended this series, and I loved how she left the readers wondering what is next because it’s obvious we’ll always have SPC. Thank you, Sara, for writing this series and the characters that will live rent-free in my head. Each character has made an impact in some way, and I felt like they have become family. I’m thankful every day that I found your books last summer because you have become a favorite, and I look forward to what you have in store for us next year.
On another note, my husband is jealous that I read Eden’s book because he started reading the series earlier this year and wanted to know more about Eden’s character. He’s going to have to wait to read Madame because he needs to read book three next, which he knows may push his boundaries a bit. He’s upset, though; I won’t let him borrow my physical copies, but I don’t want him ruining my model covers. He knows they are precious to me. =) His favorite character so far is Mia because he found her bada$$ in Eyes On Me.

Standalone or Part of Series: It’s part of the Salacious Players’ Club Series. The books could be read as standalone, but take it from someone who read in order. It’s a better experience if you do.
