My goal was to read 125 books, and I ended up reading 150 books, which I’m proud of because 2025 was rough due to health issues. I had two major surgeries to remove two organs that were causing me issues. I’m not 100%, but I’m getting there. It takes a full year to heal, and I’m going to take it easy.

I manage to read 16 books by Gwyn McNamee in 2025.

The highlight of 2025 was finally finishing Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series, so I can finally catch up with the spin-off series in 2026.

I was happy to add some more genres to my reading in 2025 and am hoping to add even more in 2026.

I added 34 New to Me Authors to my Reading Challenge and hope to add more in 2026. I love finding new authors and their books.

There was no doubt that ‘Archangel’s Ascension’ by Nalini Singh was going to be my Top Book for 2025. Bluebell and Sparkle will always be two of my FAVE characters in the Guild Hunter series.

Nine other books that were Top Reads for me in 2025.

My Goals for 2026 are to read from my Physical TBR and utilize my library even more. I have a lot of physical books that need to be read. I’m still going to read ARCs, but not as much as in previous years. I have some backlist ARCs that I need to focus more on in 2026, too. I’m also partaking in the Romanceopoly Challenge hosted by the Under the Covers Book Blog. (Crossing my fingers, I can keep up with it.)
No more pressure to post on Social Media for me. I’m in no way an influencer, and I really don’t have time to dedicate to Social Media. I’ll post occasionally, but I’m not going to stress over it, like I’ve tried to do in the past. I’m a Book Blogger/Book Reviewer first.
Let me know in the comments what some of your favorite books were in 2025, and what your goals are for 2026.
Happy New Year, everyone!!! I hope 2026 brings you lots of books.
My obsession with reading started over 30+ years ago when I went to my first Scholastic Book Fair and found R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. Later, I came across Anne Rice's novels at my public library when I was fourteen when my obsession with vampires started. I was the girl who preferred to be a vampire over a princess any day. My husband says I would leave him a heartbeat for a vampire that looked like Spike or Angel (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. (It's true, though, and he's accepted it.)
