Minx Marksman--daughter of a Supermodel and a famous Rocker--wants nothing more than a normal, crazy-free life. One more nannying gig will earn her enough to achieve her dream of small cottage on the coast. That last job brings her to Nocturne Falls where she's surprised to find out it's Halloween everyday.
Not so much on the normal, but high on the adorable.
Baby Gus and Uncle Hottie--aka Tim Johnson--seem to be a walk in the park at first. The flirty infant and the nerdy, glasses wearing cutie grab her heart from the start. She's falling fast for both guys, but she can't help but notice that some things aren't quite what they seem...
My Review
The Trickster Makes a Match is a story about a Uncle who is taking care of his nephew and needs a nanny. In comes the beautiful and reliable, Minx Marksman, who loves to take care of kids. Tim Johnson though has his hands full because Baby Gus is not your normal baby. In fact, he seems to always be up to no good and Tim is not sure how to handle baby Gus.
This book in the Nocturne Falls Universe is actually fun and crazy due to the characters not having a clue on what Nocturne Falls is all about and also dealing with baby Gus. There is also the fact that Tim and Minx are so adorable together. Tim is the geeky adorable guy and Minx is the sweet dependable girl in the story.
I really enjoyed this addition to the Nocturne Falls Universe books because it’s different from the others. Two non-paranormals in a world of paranormals provide a lot of quirkiness in the story.
I give this book 4 stars and recommend it readers of the Nocturne Falls series and fans of PNR.
This was my first book from Bria Quinlan and I look forward to checking out other books from her soon.
