Darling Daffodils Farm is the first book I’ve read by Brittanée Nicole, and if her other books are similar, I’m already excited to read more. This story made me smile, laugh, and even cry. I felt so many emotions that I couldn’t put the book down until I finished. Even now, as I write this review, I’m smiling just thinking about the characters and how much this story meant to me.
I think we’re all hoping for cooler weather right now, and maybe reading some wintry books will help. That’s where Sin Bin with the Scrooge by Brooke O’Brien comes in. If you want to get into the holiday mood and are hoping for chilly days again, this festive story is a great choice for your TBR. The book is about a former pro hockey player, Clay, who tries not to fall for the FMC, Tessa, especially since she once dated his brother. But when they end up traveling home for Christmas together, things take a turn. They get snowed in, and those hidden feelings finally come out, leading to a chemistry between them that’s impossible to ignore.
If you want a Cowboy Romance that really turns up the heat, you should add Corralled by Lorelei James to your TBR right away. The book first had a hot cowboy model on the cover, but now it’s been republished with an illustrated one. Everyone has their favorite type of cover. I’ll always love the model covers more than the illustrated ones, but I get why authors switch things up to match what readers want these days.
Yours Truly, Fall by S.L. Scott is a sweet, funny, and cozy romance about two people who get a second chance at love as adults. I really enjoy stories like this; there’s not a lot of drama, just a focus on the main characters finding love together, and this book fits that perfectly. S.L. Scott also has a real talent for making readers, like me, smile, laugh, and care about both main characters.
If you are looking for a SciFi/Cozy Mystery with a mature heroine who is down to earth, then check out Breathing Space by Kristen Painter.
If you like reading Scottish Historical Romance with a protective Highlander who falls for his opposite, you should check out Highland Justice by Heather McCollum.
I’ve really missed A. Jade/Ashley Jade, and I’m so happy she released The Consequence and is writing again. Whenever I pick up one of her books, I know I won’t be able to put it down until I finish, and that’s exactly what happened with this one. The wait was totally worth it. The emotional rollercoaster in this book, just like the first, made me want to throw my Kindle at the wall, but I managed not to! When a story and its characters make me feel so much, I know the author is an auto-buy for me.
If you like Paranormal Romance with closed-door romance and just kissing, and you’re interested in a dragon and a kraken falling in love, you should add The Kraken Bride to your TBR. I recommend every book in this series. =)
I always enjoy reading about Elena and Raphael, and I love reading how much they’ve grown since the first book. They really are the ultimate power couple. This book reminded me why I love them together and how they always protect each other and their family.
Even though it’s not my favorite from B.K. Borison, I still enjoyed it and would recommend it if you want a cozy, fun read to help you get through this heat wave. Maybe if we all read more books set in the winter months, the weather will cool down. *Crossing fingers*
If you haven’t started this series yet and you enjoy action-packed and steamy Urban Fantasy with vampires, ghouls, ghosts, and more, you’re missing out. I highly recommend the audiobooks because the narrator is amazing. She does different accents for each character and really brings the story to life. Just go read the books; you won’t regret it.
