When Jessa Talbot's boss offered her a promotion, she agreed--no questions asked. Her family needed the money, but fighting the attraction she feels for her brooding employer is tough. Worse, she instantly bonds with his infant son she's caring for. But this is a temporary solution and she can't get attached to either of them. Finnegan Dean is cursed. He's a nicely dressed monster, the wolf inside always looking for a way out. But there are two things he and his wolf agree on. They must protect baby Oscar and Jessa--his mate. While the wolf hungers to seal their bond, Finn fights the instinct. After all, if he really cares for her, he'd never doom her to the life he lives. Contains mature themes.

I’ve always enjoyed reading Shifter Romances, and I was eager to dive into Sasha Summers’ Falling for the Billionaire Wolf and His Baby. As the first book in her Blood Moon Brotherhood series, it’s left me eagerly awaiting to read the next installments. This also was my first encounter with Sasha Summers’ work, and I’m already planning to explore her other books.

The storyline of Falling for the Billionaire Wolf and His Baby was entertaining and action-packed, and I found the characters likable and loved how they found their HEA. Sasha did a fabulous job introducing not only the main characters but also the secondary characters who will receive their books. I loved the unique twist on the werewolf curse in this one, a refreshing change in the shifter romance subgenre. The pacing was perfect, and it didn’t take long for me to read, especially since it’s a short read.

The only issues I had were that sometimes I felt lost with certain scenes and had to reread them to make sure I was reading them correctly. It felt rushed at parts, and I jumped around, but it didn’t stop me from reading the book. Then, there was the ending, which felt like a cliffhanger and left me hanging. Other than that, I liked the book and gave it 3.5 stars. I definitely need to read the next book because the MMC who is in the next book definitely deserves a HEA after what he endured in this book.

If you enjoy reading shifter romances with a different take on the werewolf curse and have a boss/employee falling in love with one another while they take care of a baby together and run from the bad guys, then check out this book.

I guess I should type a bio here. I'm FranJessca, or Fran for short. I'm the owner/reviewer behind A Book Lovin' Mama's Blog. I've been reading and reviewing books on my blog since leaving the Navy in 2011, and I will keep doing it as long as possible. My favorite genres will always be Romance & Fantasy, and I read every subgenre underneath those two genres. (Sorry, not a fan of nonfiction, so don't try to convince me to read it.)
My obsession with reading started over 30+ years ago when I went to my first Scholastic Book Fair and found R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. Later, I came across Anne Rice's novels at my public library when I was fourteen when my obsession with vampires started. I was the girl who preferred to be a vampire over a princess any day. My husband says I would leave him a heartbeat for a vampire that looked like Spike or Angel (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. (It's true, though, and he's accepted it.)
