From the moment I spotted him on the side of the road, I knew he was trouble.
Now I'm kneeling at the mercy of a masked devil with my boyfriend's blood on my hands.
He tells me to call him Saint because he saved me... that I should be thankful he spared me a worse fate. I'm tempted to fight him or bargain.
But when Saint tells me to run, a twisted part of me wonders if he'll chase.
Eva Simmons made me question my morals after reading Saint, but that’s okay because as long as it’s fiction, it’s okay to like the unaliver/stalker MMC. This book definitely is the darkest and grittiest book that Eva has written, and I was here for it. I had a hard time putting down this book once I started reading it because I needed to know why Saint unalived Violet’s boyfriend and why he was stalking her.
This book reminded me of the movie The Skulls because of the secret society storyline. If you haven’t watched the film, you definitely should check it out, and while you’re at it, read this book too. =) (Yes, I was a big-time fan of Joshua Jackson and Paul Walker, and that is why I watched The Skulls quite a bit back in the day.) It also reminded me of my favorite slasher movie, Scream, which is mentioned in the book due to the FMC, Violet.
I don’t want to risk spoiling this book because you need to go in surprised, especially when you figure out who Saint is. I figured out who Saint was when Eva started introducing Sigma Sin, the secret society mentioned in this book. Now, I need more in this world that Eva created.
If you are looking for a Dark Romance that is full of spice and has an unhinged masked stalker MMC that is definitely not cinnamon roll type, then check out Saint. Check your triggers before diving into this book, though, because what Saint does to Violet is not for the faint of heart.
