So what is up for June 2016
It’s time for summer vacation for Lil’ Sidekick, which means not much posting for the next two months. Don’t worry we have scheduled posts and we plan on having reviews posted, but for the next two months it will be crazy busy. You may have noticed it slowed down a bit this past month with posts. It was a crazy month full of school activities at Lil’ Sidekick’s school and this Book Lovin’ Mama’s day job took precedence too.
This Book Lovin’ Mama is not taking any vacation time until August, when school starts again due to her day job, which means weekends will be busy with family activities.
I hope everyone had a wonderful May and everyone in the states are ready for summer vacation to be here for the kids. Our Lil’ Sidekick already has her reading book list picked out for the summer.
My obsession with reading started over 30+ years ago when I went to my first Scholastic Book Fair and found R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. Later, I came across Anne Rice's novels at my public library when I was fourteen when my obsession with vampires started. I was the girl who preferred to be a vampire over a princess any day. My husband says I would leave him a heartbeat for a vampire that looked like Spike or Angel (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. (It's true, though, and he's accepted it.)
