I should have known better than to fall for a biker. But I couldn’t resist Levi’s smile. His cockiness. All that leather.
We fell hard and fast. A spoiled rich girl from a prestigious family and a boy from a motorcycle club. We were naive enough to think we could be the exception.
But while Levi was in the military trying to build our future, his world chewed me up and spit me out. It left me broken, scarred, and angry.
Fourteen years later, Levi is everything I hate.A Twisted King.A walking red flag.Trouble.
I want nothing to do with him or his club. But if I want to get revenge on the man who destroyed my life, I need Levi’s help. The trouble is, Levi is my weakness, and I’m his. Even if he manages to save me from his rivals, who will save my heart from him?
Author's Note: Havoc is a dark MC romance with a morally grey hero, heavy subject matter, mature content, and explicit scenes. Content/TWs (which contain spoilers) can be found on author's website. 18+ Standalone with HEA guarantee
Havoc is the fourth installment in Eva Simmons’ Twisted Kings MC series. This series has me hooked, becoming more emotional and compelling with each book I read in the series. Now, we finally get Havoc’s story, a character I’ve wanted to read about since his introduction.
Levi, aka Havoc, reconnects with the one girl who got away fourteen years ago, someone he always cared for but never really got with romantically due to her issues with his MC involvement. He believed she left after he joined the military and never returned to Las Vegas. Instead, his club rescues her from the Iron Sinners, leading him to the truth about her disappearance. Aimee, who has faced much in the past fourteen years, never expected to see Havoc again. She has every reason not to trust an MC, but Havoc and the Twisted Kings prove they are nothing like the Iron Sinners and will do anything to protect her and save her father.
Once again, Eva Simmons brought the tears with Havoc and Aimee’s story. Aimee’s struggles while apart from Havoc and her efforts to save her father were emotional and, at times, hard to read. I recommend having tissues on hand.
I loved everything about this book: Havoc’s protectiveness, Aimee’s resilience, and her determination to get revenge on the person who hurt her, all made the book hard to put down. Eva Simmons truly puts readers through the wringer with these two. I also enjoyed how Eva Simmons showed glimpses of their past and how they initially met, in addition to the present moments together.
Havoc and Aimee were meant for each other, and their journey back together was enjoyable to read, even though it did make me cry several times. Knowing what Aimee endured was painful, but Havoc’s commitment makes him unforgettable. Both characters stand out. Eva Simmons always writes characters who feel like family, and I’ll never forget these two’s story. Aimee and Havoc forever and always!!!
I wish I could give this book more than five stars. If you haven’t read Eva Simmons, you’re missing out. Her stories and characters stay with you long after you finish reading.
(I loved how Eva Simmons mentioned Sage from her Twisted Roses Tattoo series in this book. If you haven’t read that series, I highly recommend it.)
Single/Dual POV: Dual POV.
Standalone or Part of Series: It’s an interconnected standalone in the Twisted Kings MC series, but if you are like me, you’ll want to read this series in order.
Would I recommend this book? Absolutely. If you enjoy Motorcycle Club Romances with an obsessed ex-military biker and the girl who got away, check out Havoc. I loved Levi and Aimee, and I’m sure others will too!

My obsession with reading started over 30+ years ago when I went to my first Scholastic Book Fair and found R.L. Stine's Fear Street series. Later, I came across Anne Rice's novels at my public library when I was fourteen when my obsession with vampires started. I was the girl who preferred to be a vampire over a princess any day. My husband says I would leave him a heartbeat for a vampire that looked like Spike or Angel (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. (It's true, though, and he's accepted it.)
