The thrilling finale to the New York Times bestselling Harbinger series.
Danger, betrayal, and enticing forbidden love...
Trinity Marrow has lost the battle and her beloved Protector. Even with both demons and Wardens on her side, Trin may not win the war against the Harbinger.
Bringing Lucifer back to the world to fight the Harbinger is probably a really, really bad idea, but they’re out of options—and the world’s ultimate fallen angel is the only being powerful enough to impact the outcome.
As Trin and Zayne form a new and more dangerous bond and Lucifer unleashes Hell on earth, the apocalypse looms and the world teeters on the end of forever. Win or lose, one thing is certain—nothing will ever be the same.
"A swoony, supernatural smash that's impossible to put down!" —Abigail Johnson, author of Even If I Fall
I finally finished Jennifer L. Armentrout’s The Harbinger Trilogy. Grace and Glory was an epic conclusion that kept me on the edge of my seat. After the end of Rage and Ruin, I was eager to read how JLA would wrap up this action-packed, emotional fantasy trilogy with such a kickbutt heroine. I can’t believe it took me this long to finish, but now I can pass these books on to my college girl, who’s become a JLA fan.
I don’t want to spoil the storyline for the final book, but I’m eager to share what aspects I found most moving and enjoyable.
I loved Trinity from book one, and even more in this book. She may be my favorite JLA heroine to date for her strength and courage. She’s grown so much. She’s a fighter, determined to save the world and Zayne, whom she loves and who loves her. I can’t brag enough, who she is, the main reason why I loved this trilogy so much.
Regarding Zayne, I truly felt shocked by what happened to him at the end of Rage and Ruin, though I wasn’t surprised by his choices afterward. (No spoilers, I promise.) His growth in this book genuinely moved me, and he made up for his actions in book two, earning my appreciation by the end.
The twists and turns were definitely what kept me turning the pages. The epic final battle kept me on my toes, and I liked how JLA concluded everything. I was surprised Zayne and Trinity got help from someone unexpected, but it made sense.
I wish this trilogy included Zayne’s POV, even briefly, to see his perspective. I understand why JLA kept the focus on Trinity and her growth as a character. She’s the best heroine JLA has written so far. I still need to read more of JLA’s books, but I can’t get over Trinity.
This book is full of heart, love, sacrifice, and strength. Trinity and Zayne’s emotional journey to defeat evil and find happiness moved me. I give this book four stars and look forward to reading more from JLA soon. My college girl will be thrilled to get more of JLA’s books; I’m glad she found an author she loves.
Would I recommend this trilogy? Yes. If you want an epic romantasy with angels, demons, battles, and a kickbutt heroine, check out The Harbinger Trilogy by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
